Credit crunch quad-core desktop
Price, plenty of connections, TV card
No Blu-ray drive
Priced at a penny under 500, you will have to factor in the provision for a monitor, either as a new purchase or using an existing unit. Even so, as a quad-core unit this is highly competitive against similar spec base units

Can this out rock Rock Band?
So much fun as a full band, tonnes of classic tracks
Poorly produced instruments, difficulty spikes remain
If it wasn't for the dodgy instruments and few difficulty spikes, this would claim top spot

Wet shave: also does beards
Adjustable beard trimmer, rubberised grip
Shave a little harsh, back blade of limited use, no spare blades
The Wilkinson Sword Quattro Titanium Precision's biggest sell is that is packs the convenience of a beard trimmer in with the satisfaction of a wet shave

A touch PC for your home?
Easy to set-up, Easy Mode, small footprint, price, fantastic as an internet portal
Media options not great, not that much touch specific software, lack of power
With a pleasing price and slick design, the Eee Top is let down by its software offering. That said, it is a lot of fun to use

Will this bridge the HD divide?
Wide file support, intuitive and slick interface, potentially a convenient media "bridge" for some users
No Ethernet connection, shame about no memory card support, no HDMI cable
We found that music, photos and movies played back smoothly and the WD TV was a pleasure to use. Combined with a discreet slick design, and a simple to use interface, for some it will be a real winner

Can the remake recapture the magic of yesteryear gaming?
No thought needed
Repetitive, no real mental challenge, no multiplayer or co-op modes
The hack and slash mentality of the original has been faithfully kept, however with no real thought or intelligence to the game, it soon tires

Can you smell what the Wii is cooking?
Fun tasks, ease of use
Like the real thing, cooking in a restaurant can become dull
The fact that this game gets kids thinking about cooking food is great

Will Blu-ray improve this classic?
Good action fest with high body count
Lack of features, quality of Predator is still poor
Good "beer with the lads" movies however not necessarily worth the upgrade to Blu-ray if you've already got them on DVD
Need somewhere to put your iPod?
Easy to use, remote simple
Not much
Simple but effective
