The Pentax DSmobile 600 is an easy scanner to set up

Overall, the Pentax DSmobile 600 produced scans that were smooth with little sign of jagging

The quality of scans produced for text documents is readable, but could definitely be improved

The speed is slow at 56 secs for an A4 document, and the scanning is poor compared to a flatbed scanner that costs around a third of the price

The cards scan quite clearly and the software makes short shrift of different card styles and shapes

For an entry-level scanner, the V200 does a great job on photos and text
