This 9800GT is one hell of an overclocker.
Fast, Superb overclocking performance, Good cooler.
Still uses the old 65 nm process, No 3-way SLI.
The box is not very attractive, as is usually the case with such cards. The logo artwork is barely visible, but you can see the specs of the card on the right. It is also written that there is a "Free gift inside" and we wonder what it could be. We opened...

The 9800GT killer cometh.
Strong DX10 performance, Single slot design, Quiet fan.
Gets hot quickly, Only slightly cheaper than the 4850.
According to AMD the HD4830 should hit the streets with a price tag Rs.8,500 give or take a few hundred rupees, which sounds decent considering that its direct competitor sells for around 8K and this one has stronger performance with AA enabled.

Let's take a look at ASUS's version of the 9800GT with its special custom heat sink.
Good cooler, 3-way SLI support, Hybrid Power, PhysX and CUDA support.
Expensive, O.C performance is not that stellar, Takes two slots.
Since this graphics card uses the custom Glaciator heat sink, you should expect this to be priced a little higher. Now ASUS has priced this board at Rs.12,500 with a 3-year warranty which I think is a really absurd pricing. You can actually find a 9800GT...

This super low-budget card from ATI is its answer to the GeForce 9400GT.
55nm, low power (20W), slim profile, Good HD peformance, Value for money, Future proof connections(HDMI + DisplayPort).
Does not support Hybrid CrossFire.
The tentative pricing according to ATI for the HD4550 is around 3.5K-4K and the warranty will depend on the manufacturer (we can assume the standard 3-year warranty). If Palit, ASUS, MSI and the other AIB partners actually do price it at that level then t...

ATI sends their legion's to invade the mainstream market where Nvidia has set their camp.
Twice the performance of the 9500GT, Value for money, Slim profile, future proof connectors.
Other than the heat issue there's nothing much.
The HD4670 that we received was just an evaluation sample and not the final product but it's good to know early on what we can expect out of ATI's mainstream cards. This one totally exceeded my expectations right from the start and it no doubt blows away...
If you thought a single HD4850 was good, wait till you see what two of them can do.
Best performance in the price segment, Faster than the GTX280.
Gets hot, Consumes 15%(average)more power than a HD4870.

Finally a retail version of the infamous Radeon HD 4870, but how much has it really improved?
Good Performance, Overclocks easily, Good bundle.
Nominal performance gain after overclocking, Fan is noisy above 50% speed, Pricing could have been a bit more aggressive.
