Sony has entered the big picture, small-price market in style
Great spec and usability; great colours, contrast and edge definition; capable upscaler
Even more affordable rivals
A very likeable projector, but not the last word in all-round ability
Stylish design; excellent colour reproduction; good levels of detail
Contrast could be better; traces of noise
InFocus had to raise the bar, and it has - superbly
Sleek styling; simple to set up and use; superb, colourful image; great detail, three-dimensionality and realism
Perhaps just out of reach, pricewise, for some
It's a big ol' unit, but relatively easy on the eye; get past that bulk and you'll find serious picture quality on offer
Entirely painless set-up; excellent specification; bright, vivid colours; impressive detail levels
Not the darkest blacks; the handling of the toughest motion isn't perfect
It's a shame this isn't cheaper: a fine projector if you're prepared to pay a premium for Full HD
Simple to operate; full HD specification; sharp, detailed, bright, colourful images with good black levels
Big and bulky; relatively expensive
A superb DLP projector; a landmark performer in every sense
Superlative image rivals many a three-chip DLP projector for colour realism, brightness and contrast
Still not exactly cheap…

In a group of amazing quality, the JVC still stands out as an astounding performer at a very fair price
Excellent detail and edge definition with both Blu-rays and DVDs; wonderfully balanced colour palette; impressive black performance
Deinterlacer isn€™t quite perfect
A stern challenger to pricier kit: this is an amazing projector for the cash
Stunning image quality; easy to install and use; quiet; cheaper than the old one
Nothing at this modest price
Wealthy and/or maniacally enthused about movies? You must see this…
Staggering picture quality; brightness and contrast are world-class, even after calibration; plenty of flexibility
Huge price; huge

The €™15S1 offers a truly stellar performance €" it€™s the one to get if money€™s not a concern
Combines incredibly sharp and detailed pictures with very punchy whites and an impressive black performance; creates pictures with real sense of depth
Colours are ever-so-slightly on the pale side of neutral; £6000 is pretty expensive
