The Nokia N85 is another solid N-series phone but if you're looking for something different this won't be your bag.
HSDPA, GPS and Wi-Fi, FM transmitter, 5-megapixel camera takes good pics, 3.5mm headphone jack is well placed
Keys on the keypad could be better defined
The Nokia N85 is another solid N-series phone, but if you're looking for something different this won't be your bag.
Sharp, business-like design, Arc Slider and QWERTY keyboard, Full range of connectivity, Hi-res display
Frequent lag spikes, Average battery life, Most available Xperia Panels are poorly designed
The X1's good looks and strong hardware are hampered by frequent performance lag, an unintuitive user experience and its jaw-dropping price tag.
The Country Phone will feel at home in those remote areas that struggle with mobile coverage. It makes up for an absence of bells and whistles with great performance of its essential features.
Curved, extendable antenna, Screen is excellent in daylight, HSDPA and AGPS, Good battery life
Quite a big phone, No mapping software installed

Amongst the numerous HTC handsets this year, the unassuming Touch 3G may not make the strongest impact, but it is certainly one of our favourites.
TouchFLO 2D is great, Good performance, Excellent battery life, Great online experience
No substantial internal storage, No physical keypad, Charging port doubles as headphone socket
The Touch 3G is a solid performer that will make a great business handset for anyone who doesn't require mechanical input. We, however, would have liked to have seen this smartphone with a keyboard for more accurate messaging.
The BlackBerry Storm looks smart, but its innovative SurePress touch-screen causes us a few concerns. We're also surprised and disappointed by the absence of Wi-Fi.
Excellent battery life, Large, clear, sharp screen, Plenty of software for work and leisure, Integrated 3G/HSDPA and GPS
Lacks Wi-Fi, Engineering concerns regarding the screen, Accelerometer could be more reliable, SurePress system cannot handle fast text input
The BlackBerry Storm looks smart, but leaves us with a few concerns.
The first BlackBerry clamshell looks great and does the basics well, though its lack of 3G data speeds is disappointing.
Sleek design, Gorgeous screen, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm headphone socket
No 3G, BlackBerry browser needs a few tweaks, Form factor not suitable for taking photos or watching video
If you can live without fast over-the-air data speeds and good web mobile web browsing then the sexy BlackBerry Flip is worth a look.
The INNOV8 is loaded with features and sports massive storage. If you're in the market for a mobile phone that can do just about anything the INNOV8 should be on your shortlist.
8-megapixel camera, HSDPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, 16GB internal storage plus micro SD expansion, DivX video playback, 3.5mm headphone socket
Drab design, Screen difficult to view in sunlight
It may not win a beauty pageant, but the INNOV8 has the features and performance to be one of the best multimedia capable phones we've seen. If you're in the market for a mobile phone that can do just about anything the INNOV8 should be on your shortlist....
The Sony Ericsson C905 is a very good phone with a decent camera, but don't expect this to be the model that has you selling your stand-alone camera on eBay.
Attractive design, Rubberised body, Zippy performance, Excellent battery life
Camera isn't superior to previous Cyber-shot phones, Cramped, stiff keypad, No 3.5mm headphone port on phone, Outrageously expensive
Although there are some design quirks, the Samsung Omnia promises to be a solid alternative to Apple's iPhone.
Nice touch-screen, Customisable interface, 5-megapixel camera, Plentiful multimedia features
You can't add additional widgets to the TouchWiz interface, Some nagging design quirks, Expensive
It's a little slimmer and it has loads of storage, but Nokia's latest flagship model has little to justify its top-shelf price tag.
New streamlined design, All major connectivity options included, Bright, sharp 2.8-inch display, Massive 16GB internal storage plus microSD expansion
Processing, battery life and features have not been significantly improved since the original N95, Expensive compared to the alternatives
Without any significant technological advances since its predecessor, the N96 struggles to impress. Its 16GB of storage is great, and the kickstand is a handy addition, but overall Nokia's latest "flagship" model has little to justify its top-shelf price...
