Tape is dead in any form or shape. And it should have happened years ago. It's like some music producers and artists still whining about tape being better than digital recording. Wake up, it's 2007 not 1967.

You apparently have a lot to learn. Tape is archival. DVD has a shelf life of 15 to 20 years, if you're lucky. Please refrain in the future from commenting on things about which you have extremely limited knowledge. Thanks.
