Great recording capability in a small package. AVCHD video with surround sound recording mic. Good digital still pictures. Good compression for HD video

AVCHD has very few options right now for conversion software, this should improve in comming months. Low light video mode is OK, but not as good as Sony. However this unit is much cheaper than Sony.
