Excellent HD picture and great 5.1 sound!

This little camera takes great HD 1080p video and the sound was amazing. The joystick control for the menu options is a little hard to use and would not work well for someone with large hands. Overall for the price it is a good HD camcorder.

Couple of cons right off the bat

HDMI Port is behind the battery, this is a major design problem. You have to remove the battery to use HDMI. They could have placed this port where the component video port is located. Also, to use HDMI you will need to buy an [HDMI to HDMI Mini] cable....
