The Apple iPhone 3G offers critical new features including support for high-speed 3G networks, third-party applications, and expanded e-mail. Its call quality is improved and it continues to deliver an excellent music and video experience.

The iPhone 3G continues to lack some basic features that are available on even the simplest cell phone. Battery life was uneven, and the 3G connection tended to be shaky. Also, the e-mail syncing is not without its faults.

From the front, the two iPhones look almost identical.

Elegant user interface, amazing design, great app store

Camera res could be better, copy and paste feature is missing

Unlimited potential with firmware upgrades. Apps shop!

Underutilised bluetooth function.

Safari, iPod, Google Maps. App Store, Large Storage, GPS, 3G, the list goes on.

The Good: Faster download speeds

The Bad: Capacity is somewhat low

The app store is the biggest pro, some many apps to place with! The touch pad is very responsive which is one thing I was worried about.

The battery of course sucks, no voice guided GPS, and no voice recongition calling.
