Did not work with my NiMH 2100 mah batteries, and has no setting to use lower voltage (1.2 volt) of rechargeable instead of Alkaline batteries. The SD card is in the same slot as the batteries.

The only weakness found thus far is Battery Useage... That's if you take alot of pictures like I do. But you can always buy a Power Adapter for it. Also, there are no easy modes for fast moving objects.
