A very sturdy camera, and the 10x optical is extremely nice for this size of a camera.

Bought this camera to have quality video inside my point and shoot camera. Video quality is good. It isn't a video camera, so it's not perfect, but better than lugging an extra video camera on vacation.

Wonderful images. Huge zoom lens for a point and shoot camera. Very little distortion throughout the zoom range. Clear, sharp photos. Good face detection. 16:9 HD video. Metal body. Large, bright LCD.

Auto focus is a bit slow in low light situations. Must have a 10mb/s SD card to record 720/30 fps. Flash is close to hand grip so you could cover the flash easily. Microphone is easily covered if not paying attention. No viewfinder.

This is a great buy. Takes great pictures and has lots of options. Rivals digital SLR's

Camera was returned. Purchased an Olympus Stylus 1010 to replace it. So far everything is great with the Olympus.

Pictures are terrible, even worse when zoom is used. Out of about 150 pictures taken, 2 were clear enough to keep. Flash takes 5-6 seconds to recharge, too long when you're chasing around a 5 yr old

Some fringes in night shots but I guess thats more because I have been shooting with the default mode...I need to read the manual

Awesome Pictures great zoom!! You can get amazing shots of batters hitting from the out field or people on stage at a concert from far away and the quality is amazing you would think someone professional took them

Be sure to buy a fast speed sd card as a standard cheap card will slow down features.

I like everything about it. upgraded from original tz1. LCD screen is larger and brighter so is easier to see outside. Video is clear and also the sound is recorded like a dynamic sound, recorded live music with no distorsion. Zoom amazes me

Camera should be sold with a case to protect LCD. Will scratch easily
