this is a camera that the pros love to shot with. I have done a hole lot of home work on my up grade to the 50D. I am not a pro at all I am making the jump from a point and shot. there is a lot of help with the learning curve online.I also now a few pros...
I needed the kit lens to save a few bucks, but I know I will out grow this lens fast

I stepped up to the 50D from a XTi primarily to get a more rugged frame and higher megapixel count. Its other features certainly have been the icing on the cake. If you are a Canon user, and cannot afford or justify the step up to the 5D or the pro series...

This is the camera I dreamed about. The picture quality is great. I was ok with my XTI, I am super happy with my 50D. It has a professional feel and look.
