Great camera!!! Upgraded from a Canon 40D. Construction and feature set are first rate. The image quality and low light performance blow away my old 40D. THe only thing missing is video like the 5D MKII.

I upgraded from a EOS 30D and this is a wonderful improvement. I realize that 40D owners might not have the same experience. The auto focus works very well in very bad light (for a camera that is). And it also works a lot better than the 30D on moving su...

Really happy with the upgrade from a 450D. IQ and build quality definetely stands out. With a good lens (16-35 or 17-40) or even with the kit lens, it delivers great photos even with the ISO at the maximum level.

Best of everything in its class. Generally speaking, Canon makes best (above 9/10 rating) professional DSLR & point and shoot, Sony best entry level DSLR's and Nikon best prosumer DSLR cameras. However, the difference is not that much between some other...
Autofocus in live view does not work with half pressed shutter button - what's their problem? A $100 P&S has better contrast detect autofcus these days, why can't they make it for DSLR's. Or they want more money for future 'upgrades'.
