only that almost everything you read about this camera suggests you should buy 3-4 year old technology instead (D40/D80)

The terrific menu system and graphics make it easy to use the camera and to learn photography beyond point-and-shoot. Compact size is perfect for vacations.

Pricey, but worth the extra. I don't like that I have to press the i button twice to change settings and if I press too soon after taking a photo it zooms the playback image instead.

It's a Nikon ; Images are great right out of the camera ; Good price point ; Small and easy to use

Only 3 AF points (although it really hasn't been a problem yet...), built-in flash is a bit weak
