With D70 and D70S I have shot at least 300.000 photos, and I am happy with the results. I use many type lenses, especially 60 2.8 NIKON, for kids in my office clinic ( I am pediatrician ).

I had been a Nikon user before the Digital camera time. Having Nikon F4s and FM2 with a range of lenses from 15mm fish eye to 300mm/f4 all Nikkor lenses, you would have thought that I would go for a Nikon Digital. I considered and reviewed a lot before bu...

D70 is a very good DSLR. D70s...only minor upgrade. I would wait for D200 but when will it be out?

I also own the Canon 20d which is a much faster camera and $500 more expensive. The 20d's flash does a much better job at bounch flash than the d70. Sometimes the 70d does a better job of adjusting for backlit scenes.
I have had problems with auto focus, that I did not have with the Canon 20d. It just simply would not focus even though the subject had good contrast. It is also a much slower camera than the 20d ; The 20d has a IS lense that is much superior to the Nikon...

I really expected Nikon to come up with something. This is really rediculous: This one and D50 should be answer on Canon 350D? NO WAY. :) I've been a bit afraid that I had have to wait a bit longer before I bought my 350D, but now I am completely glad I d...

Was amoungst the first few to use a D-70 and did excellent outdoor sports photography in Ludhiana (India) No correction ever required in Photoshop. eagerly looking forward to the D-70S, because
One fine morning the D-70 just refused to work. Checked the battery and the memory card. Both O.K. Only the memory card access lamp is blinking, rest every thing is dead. Hope Nikon will improve, and this would not be repeated in D-70s

The D70 and D70s are the best cameras to grace the under 2000 dollar market. I should know I make a living selling them! I'm tired of people who bash a camera they haven't even held! Their reviews should be removed and not be allowed to post anything furt...
The only problem this camera has is people reviewing it when they don't actually own it
