Overall, I love the camera.
Extremely easy to use with automatic settings. Plenty of manual options for experienced users. Great image quality. Excellent battery life.
Very few. Wish the kit came with a starter memory card Images from long exposures come out a little bit grainier than other D-SLRs.

(Edited August 19th by jantzmr) It's a great camera and now that I'm in the market for a second camera it's a real hard decision between the Canon EOS 20D for around 2000.
I've found this camera very easy to use and the pictures from it are great. It's instant on is a real plus as is the very reasonable price.
The pictures tend to be a little bit on the blue side. I shot with the white balance on the the flash setting most of the time which seems to fix this.

I've had this camera for the last two weeks.
Great value for the price paid. Kit lens is reasonably good quality.
White balance needs to be manually adjusted/calibrated. Pictures tend to be on the sligtly blue side.

(Edited September 09th by yhlbb) This is my first D-SLR.
* image quality * build quality
* it's a bit intimidating for a beginner (too many knobs on the camera to know about) * May need CCD sensor filter cleaning from time to time

Camera fits on my hand perfectly.
Camera is light weight compared to Nikon D-100, body-to-body. Battery last almost forever (about 1300 shots on the average with flash used about 20% of the time).
Not fully compatible with older Nikon lenses. Need to adjust Exposure (+3EV), Contrast & Saturation to get saturated colors.
