Tivo is GREAT!

Simply the best DVR out there. The encoder is grainy and does not look good on large TV's except in best quality (and even then not great).

Rebate/Service Caution

Great at what it does. You CANNOT record a show to the hard drive without purchasing TiVo's service, although I can't see why this is necessary.

Best DVR I Think?

Greatest DVR interface of all. I've had 5 Tivos in a year and a half, 4 of them either didn't work rght out of the box or died shortly after setup.
