Iriver E100 (4GB, black) review

By jheflin

Come on guys, how can this be an Editor's Cho...

The Iriver E100 is packed with pretty much every feature in the book--photo and video playback, an FM radio, all recording capabilities, compatibility with both Windows and Mac, extensive audio file format support, bookmarking, microSD card expansion, eve...

The Iriver E100 has a cheap, plastic feel, and the interface is very basic. The clickpad is not totally responsive, and some navigation is sluggish. D-Click navigation isn't optimal for the control pad setup. No integrated podcast support.

The Iriver E100 is a decent choice for people who want a ton of features in an easy-to-use package, but if you're after speedy navigation or top-notch sound quality, look elsewhere.

"Very good player for the money."

By jffman

This player is great. It was less than the So...

Good sound. Fairly simple to use. A decent amount of EQ options. Nice screen size and clarity. Expansion slot for Micro SD. Many features!

Cheap headphones!!! The USB cover keeps falling out. Some menus have a lag time. Plastic construction feels a little cheap, but not bad. Would be nice if it had album art thumbnails in menus.
