Scanfront 220P misses the mark
This scanner could have been so much more user friendly. With embedded Windows, I expected to be able to scan directly to a folder by browsing the network, but this facility is not available. All destinations must be preset in an address book. Naming of files, especially for jobs defined by a Job Button, is not very flexible, and if a name is chosen that already exists, the document has to be rescanned and given another name before it can be saved. Add to this the fact that user parameters such as e-mail login name and password cannot be changed from that used when creating the account and it is clear that the software for this device leaves something to be desired.
Quick and accurate scanning to searchable PDF documents
Cannot scan direct to a folder, have to rescan if document already exists.
