Bought the TV about 2 weeks ago. Fantastic picture. Had to turn off IFC when watching crcket, golf or AFL. Well worth the money spent.

Great picture, easy controls, good price, easy to setup

No anti glare refelective coating ; No THX picture mode

Never buy Chinese made electronics.

The old 700 series was made in Japan. This one is made in China ; Glass is no longer non-reflective

Picked up the 42PY800AZ (presume that is the NZ version) in the weekend at Harvey Norman for $NZ2500 and loving it! Even the wife is happy with the purchase.

Fantastic pitchure. Bright room but the gloss finish doesnt seem to matter. Still better than or CRT that we replaced.

When watching golf and cricket the ball tends to seperate slightly at a certian speed. Does anyone know how to fix that?

Fantastic TV. Love it! Styling isn't really what i bought the TV for though. Picked it up for $2K after bargaining last week.

Very deep blacks. Brilliant picture quality. More than enough inputs. Solid stand

no 1080p support over component. Styling looks a little dated already.

Superb. Flickering football in motion is annoying but is overcome by turning of IFC control. Cinema mode on DVDs is great also. Would of liked some more control of color balance, but can live with it. Working in the tv industry, I've been holding off unti...

Price, styling, PQ.

Lack of fine color balance control

Does anyone know how i can reduce the pixelation/distortion of the football when it is flying fast through the air...is there a 'sports' button/mode it should be played on?

Awesome colours ; Incredible contrasts ; Better than average TV sound ; Very happy with purchase

Blurred image when tracking football games (AFL) from long camera shots

We had a W-series bravia full HD TV (about 10 months old) until we accidentally smashed a Wii remote at it and absolutely stuffed it (yep - it really does happen) :) In any case, we had a pretty pricey, and supposedly good LCD before buying this one. This...

great price ; great motion tracking ; image looks 3D (I think that this is attributable to the black levels) ; colours are realistic (to my eyes)

I honestly can't think of anything significant in the way of cons yet

Interesting that review says reflection is a problem, but a number of comments have indicated that it isn't. Very confused, and need to know!

Sounds great, looks great in shop

How bad is the reflection??
