I love my Philips, great picture and was easy to set up.

Very bright with a strong contrast ratio and plenty of features. Took all of about 4 minutes to set it up including lifting it onto the tv table. The inbuilt speakers actually have some merit.

The are still some problems with the true motion settings making movies look unnatural and cartoonish.

The 'fast motion' described by gargoyle is in fact the 'HD Natural Motion' setting. I couldn't stand it, and turned it off completely. Otherwise, the set looks great.

I was in a toss up between this and a Sony Bravia. As much as i wanted a free PS3, the philips delivers the goods compared to any of the Bravia's

no ghosting at all as opposed to the bravia's.

Connecting component is unusual and you need a 2xRCA to 3.5mm Stereo Jack to connect the Audio.

The 47PFL9632D is not quite perfect, but perfect enough to be at the head of an elite leading pack of 40in + LCD TV's.

Takes a while to switch on from cold as we turn everything off at the power points. Still get some pixalation with busy, fast moving objects such as a flock of birds taking off.

My son has just put a wii remote through mine, but i'm going to replace it with the same again, i'm so impressed with it
