sorry for the double posting earlier.....just an update....the flickering image occurs in all the R7 series everywhere in the world...just that you have to notice it. and the latest...I got my money back....and have to research for another model/make.

It has been about 8 weeks since I purchased my Samsung R71 and it has been at home for less than 1 week. Reason being, the 1st unit, there was a hum coming from the unit. Its a noise you'd hear from the power unit. So I had the unit changed... with diffic...
