It would be nice if there was open source labelling software, but the binary-only lacie linux labeller at least did the job.
Lightscribe is cool. It means you can make discs that look more like professional spins. It also means you don't have to worry about reading your own handwriting later.
Didn't work in either of my lightscribe burners. Had to put the disc in my laptop to record, then flip it over and put it in the lightscribe burner to print the label.
