The newest entry in the revered series features plenty of awesome action, a great new character...and a bit of repetition.
Online leaderboards, challenging achievements on both platforms, and a host of unlockables (including an action-only survival mode) will keep stalwart fans coming back for more, in spite of all the repetition. Recycled content and some pacing inconsistenc...
Devil May Cry 4 Review of Devil May Cry 4 (PlayStation 3)In addition to the dazzling action, you'll work your way through some light puzzles and platforming sequences. No, you aren't apt to find Devil May Cry 4 to be excessively tough on your...
devil may cry 4 review: The newest entry in the revered series features plenty of awesome action, a great new character ... and a bit of repetition.
Extraordinary action sequences highlighted by smooth controls and slick animations, Nero is a great new character with some terrific new moves, Beautiful visuals and incredible cutscenes will constantly amaze you, Boss characters are designed well and fun...
Environments and boss fights are repeated far too often, Puzzles and platforming aren't much fun as well as chop up the pace too much

No, you aren't apt to find Devil May Cry 4 to be excessively tough on your first play-through, though it is no walk in the park either. Devil May Cry 4 takes itself seriously, but not too seriously, so for every shocking, bloody cutaway, there's...
Boiled down to its core; the stark reality is that no matter what the fanboys say, Devil May Cry 4 is just a game of two decent, but unremarkable halves being added together. Sure, there's a decent romp in there if you want it and the game has plentiful c...
Graphics, arcade gameplay, skill building element
Puzzles aren't that challenging, playing without automatic mode on requires timing of the Gods
Where Devil May Cry 4 succeeds is its fun and carefree approach, not in its ability to win the hearts and minds of the intellectual gamers out there
February 2008 - Devil May Cry is back for a fourth instalment, but should you bother? Coming from the producer of the original Devil May Cry and Resident Evil 4 games, the game sees you play as Nero, a young knight, as well as Dante from previous...
The graphics are fantastic. Seriously, the game looks great. The fighting mechanics are fluid and easy to grasp. Tight controls add to the awesomeness. While it's nice to see familiar faces, the new characters are great in their own right, especially newc...
While the game shines visually, it comes up short in the audio department. The camera and the save system are also problematic, leading to some unnecessary frustration.
We're hoping against hope that Capcom will somehow address the wonky camera and save system, because that would go a long way towards making DMC4 truly sublime. Still, we highly recommend it to anyone who's looking for an amazing action game to add to the...
When our review copy of Devil May Cry 4 first appeared in our offices, we treated it with the same sense of wariness that we would have mustered had we received a box with a "Warning: Live Demon" sticker plastered on the top. Devil May Cry 4 is an...

Some of the good, some of the bad, some of the weird
Great hack and slash action, amazing visuals, good replay value, a fresh new character, polished presentation, super-stylish
Bland plot, irritating soundtrack
Move over Dante. It's Nero time!
Is DMC4 too close to DMC3 for comfort? Maybe, but Nero's new abilities and the stunning HD graphics go a long way towards hiding the fact. Those slice-and-dice, demon-slaying antics still feel good.
Maybe that's why I'm equal parts disappointed and relieved to find that Devil May Cry 4 is very much in the same grain. Being well over the age of fifteen, I've always regarded Devil May Cry 3 as a bit of a guilty pleasure: a hyper-pumped,...
Since the final game is a few weeks away, here's an appetizer for you
The most intriguing aspect of DMC 4 is Nero and his Devil Arm; I can imagine the many combinations and skills that the full game will deliver. I remember watching the teaser video of DMC 4; it looked like just another DMC game. Demo-lition The...

You'll probably remember Devil May Cry 3 for the PlayStation 2 as being an unfairly difficult game, yet one that rewarded your patience with a slew of high-quality action. If playing it gave you tears of frustration, you'll be happy to learn that...
