Had unit installed apricot 3years ago, the first fault was the wrong zone controls sent with unit 6 weeks to fix the issue since then had 6 temp sensors replaced. Would defiantly not buy this unit again had it recommend to me. Please stay away too much...

Disgusting customer service and Unreliable product

issues every year with both controller boards, a wall controller and the zone control motors all needing to be replaced during these failures and this is all topped off with their disgraceful customer service, 30min hold times just to speak to someone,...

Customer service??? There is none.

ained" and therefore, insinuated they may not know exactly how to install or trouble shoot as a "Daikin trained" engineer may. I realise the warranty was out, but not exactly helpful, confidence instilling or having me wanting to recommend their...

Noisy unit

Recently had this unit installed in a new suburb in Canberra where our neighbours are on your back door. The cooling and heating are excellent and cools and warms with in minutes but the outdoor unit is so noisy it buzzes all the time. Cant have unit...

Sneaky legalese to avoid warranty obligations

led to the failure. As it was only 1 year outside of warranty, and given we only use the unit for approx 8 out of 12 months (and not every day for that matter), I am very certain the problem with the compressor started while it was still under...

Good brand but this model is very noisy from your neighbour's point of view

We chose Daikin as we had had a smaller model installed in the previous home we built. However, it was not until this arrived (and the size of it) and installed that we were to discover the noise levels - there is no difference between day and night...

Great for All Seasons

ity ones which is a plus point if you entertain people and it'll be embarrassing if the house is a sauna. The unit cools the house in a few minutes and because it cools so quickly, the inverter throttles down to a low speed and consumes much less...

Value for money, reliable and energy efficient.

Alright for cooling

he control panel does eat up quite a noticeable amount of electricity, even when not in use. We've chose to turn off the whole system from the mains when not in use, which is pretty much all year, except during summer. This unit is pretty noisy, and it...

Alright for cooling

We've had this system since building the house pretty much, which has been three years now. The external and the internal (in the roof cavity) units are huge. When looking for a ducted aircon system, the main concern was whether the system would be...

It is noisy.

Bad

It definately does its job, but every time the compressor kicks in it is like an aeroplane taking off. I've had the installer and daikin out twice but they advise I just have to live with it, it is the way it operates. SO, if having a loud compressor...

Cools the house brilliantly - perhaps too brilliantly, it is freezing at 25 degrees and too hot at 26 degrees, its a fine line.

So noisy, particularly at night, that it cannot be ignored. The neighbours have complained.
