Works, but not perfect.

When I first plugged in the unit before installation, I was greeted with the lawn-mower engine noise some other reviewers have mentioned. I believe it was the blower fan blade hitting against either the chassis or something else that was mechanically...

Keeps my computer room nice and chilly and keeps my central air from working itself to death in the Florida sun

Installation instructions are a joke! If you've never installed one of these before (as I hadn't), do yourself a favor and disregard the instructions that come with the unit and watch a few youtube videos on proper window AC installation. It didn't...

Replacement almost as bad

I cannot recommend this unit. I am using it in my basement where I don't have to listen to it.

Newegg gave me an RMA and even paid the shipping on the return. It took about two weeks to get the replacement. Great service from Newegg

The replacement was almost as noisy as the origional. This machine is junk

A Lemon

Told I would have to return product and it would take four weeks to make replacement. They should take business lessons from Newegg. I will report further.

Its an air conditioner. Ordered at 4pm and received 10am the next day. Inspected box and it showed no damage ; Newegg service is amazing

Installed and plugged in only to be greeted with noise like a power mower. Filed an email report to Haier on Friday now Tues and no reply. Called Haier and I was accused of dropping the machine, accepting a damaged delivery, and improper installation
