Nice Unit, However.......

 

This machine produces a very strong blast of nice cold air in AC mode. As cold and strong as any AC I have ever seen. Also, it runs until the room gets cool. Most window AC units and "through the wall" units stop cooling when the outside ...

Strong air conditioner. Satisfactory heat pump.

1 Drains water. 2 Creates a negative airflow in the building that defeats the heater.

Performance and Appearance are GREAT. Not a big ugly unit stuck in your window.

Wish casters were larger to work on carpet better.

I noted the generally poor reviews for portable a/c's here, including the Soleus. Me thinks that they are to some degree due to unrealistic expectations ad incomplete evaluation before purchase. NOTE THAT THIS ITEM IS AN A/C, HEAT PUMP, AND ...

Fills an important niche, reasonable noise level, good controls. Great functions (a/c, heat pump, dehumidifier)

If one honestly evaluates their needs against the units features, there should be none.
