HAD IT FOR A WHILE

 

There are new drivers available on the Behringr website... for XP and Vista Had it over 9 months, on a dedicated USB CARD (PCI) - works for me, just enjoy the learning curve.

Startup MIDI controller - high ease of use - use with Virtual DJ (aside from the included Traktor) Love it cause it has the DUAL SOUND (ASIO) card internal - 2 chan to mains and 2 chan. for MONITOR (PFL). entry level with internal sound

Scratch is a general term - not really for vinyl feel ; MIC input is an EITHER OR setup - for channel A. (You cannot talk over deck A, Either MIC OR Deck A

Great MIDI Controller

 

I didn't purchase this from Newegg (they actually didn't have it when I bought this and I always buy from here anyways) I hope this might help someone considering this item. It is definetly one of the best computer based MIDI controllers out there for...

MIDI controller works great with Traktor (I upgraded from LE to 3.3 - worth it!). Keys are already mapped out and everything works fine... but don't expect to be able to scratch or anything like that with this unit, it is essentially for mixing music,...

The issue with scratching might deter some. Also, mapping is not always easy if you change software. The keys are mapped to Traktor LE but if you upgrade you will have to google for the right .tks file.

Great Entry Level DJ Controller

 

Sorry I missed it from NewEgg, But I use it with (3) different applications on my Win based PC. If you need more features or 'HIGH end", spend more for a similar product (although most others dont include Sound outputs...)

Although I didnt purchase thru Newegg (Didnt find it available when I was shopping at the time), it works well with MANY DJ apps with Native support in many. Dual Soundcards with ASIO drivers - stable with decent quality.

"scratching" is a bit of a stretch- other products handle it better - There are USB chip issues / conflicts - read behringer's site for recommendations.
