Benbo Trekker MK3

The Benbo Trekker MK3 has a highly unconventional design, using a large hinged joint to position the legs.

The worst ever

Simply the worst \'tripod\' I have ever tried to use. Unwieldy, difficult to lock (takes a lot of torque on a smallish handle) and utterly hopeless on a shiny or in any way polished floor. If you are only ever going to shoot on grass or thick carpet...

Not at all like an octopus

I have read lots of reviews that say the Benbo is hard to put up. I found it very easy to put up and I have never owned a "serious" tripod before. You just unlock it, place the legs in position and relock it. Simples. The only problem I found is that...

Quirky but very good tripod

Very good for low level photography - can get very low to the ground with this tripod. Can be a little awkward - until you get used to the locking mechanism - but once you do it is very good. Well worth the money.

more trouble than its worth

This was recommended to me and i was warned about the legs. So i took a chance and bought it because i wanted a versatile tripod for outdoor nature close up shots, backgrounds and landscapes. The worse thing about it is the legs, i describe them as...

Worst designed tripod ever

I\'ve just brought my Benbo Trekker out after a period of storage to see if I could work the thing better than in the past. It is one of the most infuriating tripods ever designed. Okay so it can be angled in many diverse ways but boy does it take some...
