JVC UX-G70

Five-disc DVD/CD changer; USB audio input allows you to play computer audio through the system; auxiliary A/V input plus a minijack input/output; handles MP3, JPEG, and WMA files on CDs and DVDs; subwoofer output; DVD-Audio compatible.

Annoying remote control; all A/V connections are on the front panel; no DivX compatibility; more expensive than competing DVD minisystems.

The JVC UX-G70 offers especially attractive features and sounds good enough to keep your bedroom or den rocking.

JVC UX-G70

I looked at quite a few of these systems and found that this to be the best of the under $500 lot.

Great Outputs for DVD Audio on Back ; Great Connections for USB & Personal Audio Players on Front ; Subwoofer Out ; Crisp Range fills through most of house

Random on only One Disc not all Five ; Only -3 & +3 range on Bass / Treble ; Cumbersome remote with hard to find options
