Happy with my component system. I got it in black. The sound is great, fills up my whole apartment. Love that I can play CDs or listen to FM or AM. I have not one thing negative to report as yet. Have had the system 2 weeks.

I purchased Yamaha's MCR-B142 system for my wife. Setup was a snap. The sound is very full (and is equipped with an equilizer for low, mid, and high that we did not need to touch). Wife-e-poo loves the easy to use controls (on unit and on the remote)....

The radio reception and speaker performance are exceptional . The only caveat is that it iPods after the 4th generation will not be recognized in the dock

If it was for me, I'd buy used components & get more for my money. But this was for my parents to use in their dining room. It looks good, sounds good, and doesn't intimidate them. They're very happy with it & with the price
