The zoom doesn't work. As soon as you start to zoom, you get double vision.

Quite simply these binoculars produced two separate images. This appears to be due to the barrels being out of alignment. Whether this is due to poor manufacturing and quality control or that they were dropped in transit is unknown. Returned to vendor...

Zoom lever not smooth

the zoom lets me find a subject before zoom in on it.thats a big plus.

the lense protective covers are a poor fit. they fall off.

I haven't used it enough so far to give it an in depth view but it appears to be generally sufficient for bird and animal watching as intended.

It was slightly heavier than expected but other than that nothing more, so far.
