As with any camera it as it's up's and down's. For a B Roll Live Event (IE Wedding, Small Concert camera) it does great so far!

This camera is great

Use it for web videos, recording presentations. Doesn't shoot well in low lighting and I don't trust the auto settings, so I manual everything. Still, nice camera. Works well. Lightweight. Nice picture quality.

I bought this camera to boost my profile for video jobs. While I felt at ease shooting HD with my then trendy Canon Vixia M-41. I always viewed my work as it's not what you shoot, but what you do with the footage.

Although I wish the sensor was a bit bigger to accommodate the massive pixel count (causing the cam to suffer in low light)- there is allot to love about this camera. Great form factor, easy menu navigation, sharp touch screen, and lots of recording...

This is good camera at a friendly price. The digital zoom is not all that spectacular (at least not through the LCD) but the controls and menus are easy to access and use. The output looks good and the color is good.
