Great Camcorder for the price.

This is a great unit for the price. I would have given it 5 stars if it had XLR mic connections (most pro mics are XLR, which all my mics fall into). This camcorder is only 1080i, not 1080p, but amazing picture for the price. It also has a nice 'pro'...

Sony HD1000U

Just finished shooting an Indie film here in NJ called Pembrook. Very wild horror movie. Shots look amazing. Totally am glad I invested in this camera!

Full 1080i at 4 to 90 fps. This is a great camera for the hobbyist or the amateur film maker. I have owned this camera for 3 years and have yet to have any kind of hiccup with it. Great buy and easy to use

Could some type of lens that is more functioning that the 2x zoom lens or the 0.5x wide angle lens

This is a HD camcorder, for a fraction of the price of ones that movie-makers use, but has everything. It is a little heavy, but that much is obvious just from looking at it. Stunning HD makes any movie shot from this beautiful, and very clear. For...
