All in all, this camera is worth the money, because it is dirt cheap. If it were in the same league as mid range Full HD cameras it would get devoured. Luckily for JVC, it is not in the same category and is probably worth the money. If you are looking...

Good for the price

You can't compare this camera to a model costing $400 or more, in quality or features, but in it's price range it works well. For $229 it would have been overpriced, but for $89 it's a good deal if you need 1 or more low cost near HD quality cameras....

Variable speed zoom ; Keeps focus while zooming ; Image stabilization make a noticeable improvement ; 40x optical zoom ; Sound is fairly sensitive ; Good in low light even with small sensor ; MTS files play fine on WMP and open in Sony Vegas Pro

Impressed by the quality of the recorded video for the price of the camcorder. Easy to use, not many bells and whistles but I don't need any. Just want good looking videos of family and friends.

I was very disappointed with this order. It said it usually ships in 1 to 2 days. Days later, it did not. When I contacted the merchant, I was told that it was shipped, and was given a tracking number. It actually did not ship for another 2 days....

This JVC camcorder is compact, light, and seems easy to use - so far. The menu is clear and well delineated. It's zoom (200x) is phenomenal. However, holding it still is tricky, at long lengths.Overall, we are satisfied with this product - so far -...

JVC Everio GZ-E10 40x Optical/200x Digital Zoom microSD/SDHC Full HD 1080p Camcorder w/HDMI & 2.7" LCD (Violet)

I haven't tested the whole functions for the product, but the first look is good. It's little and light, perfect to put in a purse.
