Toshiba Camileo BW10

The ; is easy to use, waterproof, and small and lightweight.

The BW10 has almost no extra features, lacks embedded editing and sharing software, and produces merely passable HD video.

The Toshiba Camileo BW10 is a basic, waterproof minicamcorder that's good enough to capture a casual cannonball into a pool, but not more treasured memories.

So long as you're not expecting Hollywood-esque footage, the BW10 from Toshiba is a decent (and cheap) waterproof camcorder.

Lightweight, very portable ; Well priced ; Simple interface, very easy to pick up and start shooting

Only waterproof to 2m ; Horrible audio from the built-in microphone ; Very poor still image quality

Waterproof camcorders at a cheap price point are ideal for casual use and YouTube uploading, and that's the core group of users that the BW10 addresses. It's not going to be suitable to replace a dedicated still camera by the beach and its video...

"will not reccomend this product"

worked fine the first day and started leaking water and got foggy trough the lens next day. I had to wait a few hours for the camera to dry and it work out of the water fine, untill I got back in the water again. It never worked in the water at all....

If you just want to shoot video and then do edith with your own tools. You can't beat this. I picked mine up at HH Gregg for $59, display model.

Smiple, good video, no software needed. Records in MP4 which is easily viewable on Windows 7. Feels solid. Has a little on board memory.

Records in Mp4 Win xp dosen't like it. At least on one of my machines. Image is a bit shakey when walking. Of course digital zoom is useless.
