HTC Touch Diamond Review

...we have very few complaints about the outside of the Diamond Touch, and wish the software inside could live up to its promise.

HTC Touch Diamond review: Geek's best friend

We called it a game for the Diamond and Omnia but the crowd is still on their feet, so there we go with the HTC Diamond's lap of honor. The latest HTC squad member, HTC Touch Diamond, might as well be starting a new era for Microsoft OS-powered...

HTC Touch Diamond vs. Samsung i900 Omnia: Head-to-Head

It's PocketPC playoffs and HTC are giving Samsung a match at the GSM Arena. With two of the stars of the season arriving in our office all at once, we thought it's a heck of an opportunity for some Diamond-Omnia-Diamond-Omnia-Diamond-Omnia...

It's been a year now since Apple iPhone is out and its ground-breaking user interface took the industry by a storm. Windows Mobile however still fails to pick up the gauntlet thrown by the iPhone so device manufacturers are creating their own...

HTC Touch Diamond (Sprint)

The Touch Diamond is a beautiful, if imperfect, smartphone that makes more sense in this 3G-enabled, subsidized incarnation. Just be sure to stay near a power outlet.

Classy styling. Gorgeous, high-resolution screen. Beautiful interface graphics. Solid Web browser (and overall software bundle).

Dismal battery life. TouchFLO is inconsistent in spots. Subpar video playback. No memory card slot. Gets very hot during calls (more so than the iPhone).

Touch Diamond

HTC's Touch Diamond ($350 with a two-year contract) is a well-designed Windows Mobile smart phone whose compact, candy-bar design widens its appeal.

Good call quality Excellent documentation

Occasionally sluggish interface Small keyboard

It may not fully quench your iPhone lust, but the HTC Touch Diamond is certainly worth a look. Though I ran into a few annoyances (such as occasional sluggish performance), my experience overall with the Touch Diamond was positive

HTC Touch Diamond

The Touch Diamond's distinctive design doesn't jibe with its sluggish performance and poor battery life.

Good voice quality. Gorgeous, ultra-slim design. High resolution VGA screen and interface graphics. Takes sharp, detailed photos.

Buggy. Poor battery life. Lacks 3G support. No memory card slot. TouchFLO interface is balky. Awful speakerphone.

Sleek, slick, and packed with features, the HTC Touch Diamond has a lot to offer (3G and WiFi connectivity), some curious omissions (no expansion card slot), and features that are both impressive and sometimes puzzling (that TouchFlo interface). If a...

HTC Touch Diamond Review

The HTC Touch was the first real competition the iPhone faced, even if it didn't necessarily set out to be. HTC was surely trying to capitalize on the popularity of Apple's all-touch device, but Windows Mobile is a more open though much clunkier UI...

HTC Touch Diamond

The Touch Diamond is a compelling prospect on paper, but the reality is, unfortunately, considerably less appealing.

HSDPA , Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS, Atrtactive TouchFLO 3D interface on top of Windows Mobile 6.1, Stylish and pocket-friendly

Very poor battery life, TouchFLO 3D runs slowly and is not always well integrated with Windows Mobile, No expansion slot, No keyboard
