Honor 10 Lite review: a little tinkering unlocks a lot of potential

Although it makes a bad first impression, there's a lot to like about Honor's latest budget smartphone.

Minimal notch ; Big colorful screen ; That headphone jack

Shoddy Bluetooth performance ; Aggressive battery-saving options ; Micro USB

But if these are tradeoffs that you’re willing to make, then the Honor 10 Lite is a decent budget buy. The phone is available now across Europe, with prices starting at €229 or £199.99 for the 3GB model with 64GB of built-in storage.

Honor 10 Lite review: When stellar design isn't enough

The Honor 10 Lite isn't a bad phone, but it fails to stand out in a highly competitive market.

Fantastic design ; Excellent ergonomics ; Display looks great ; Very good network performance

Poor camera ; Outdoor visibility ; Fingerprint and scratch magnet

Honor 10 Lite review: budget phone that's worth a look

There's a lot of phone here and with carriers like Three UK picking it up, it's an approachable budget offering worth considering. Some flaws though.

Attractive design for the price ; Decent battery life ; Included case ; Feature rich

Heavy skinned software missing key features ; Poor gaming performance (pre-GPU Turbo 2.0 update) ; Prone to fingerprints ; Plastic build

As reviewed, the Honor 10 Lite feels a little underbaked but with a little tinkering before launch, this is an enticing option for under £200. Laggy performance out the box but a robust feature set mean it's still worth considering.

Honor 10 Lite review

Honor's bargain-priced sequel ups the style stakes without hurting your wallet

Styling looks the part ; Skinny screen bezels and subtle notch ; Affordable price

App and game performance not up to snuff ; Software too intrusive ; Plastic build feels cheap

Flagship-inspired looks will only get you so far when software and performance are only so-so. The Honor 10 Lite is keenly-priced, but the alternatives are more well-rounded

Honor 10 Lite Review: Still a great looker but cameras leave much to be desired

If you're looking for a budget phone that will do no more than grab eyeballs, this one's for you.

Looks stunning ; Good display ; Decent performer

Disappointing camera ; Laggy software

Honor 10 Lite review: Save £31 on the SIM-free handset

In many ways a reincarnation of the impressive Honor 8X, with a fast processor and two rear-facing cameras

Impressive performance ; Stunning design ; Fast rear-mounted fingerprint sensor

Opts for microUSB over USB-C ; Doesn’t match the Moto G6’s camera performance ; Design attracts fingerprints

For £200, the Honor 10 Lite has a blistering processor, which makes it a great choice for mobile gamers and power users. The display is vivid and offers great viewing angles, battery life is impressive. and it has a magnificent design that incorporates...

Honor 10 Lite mobile phone review

  (Rating Hidden)

The Honor 10 Lite is the latest value phone from Huawei's subsidiary. It claims to offer promising specifications and features for a sub-£200 phone - but is it delightful, or just plain light on quality?

Honor 10 Lite review

The Honor 10 Lite looks like it should cost twice as much as it does and the illusion is only slightly ruined in use. It's one of the best budget phones you can get, but there are a few minor issues.

The Honor 10 Lite is a remarkable phone for the money. We were blown away by the Honor 10 when that launched and while this is a lesser phone overall, given the price it’s every bit as impressive.

Honor 10 Lite Smartphone Review

The Honor 10 Lite is the latest reasonably priced smartphone from Honor with good looks, decent camera specs and funky features. Plus, it has a tiny front notch giving users an even bigger screen at an even better price.

The Honor 10 Lite is an eye-catching smartphone with great design and some great features. Plus, those looking for the best screen-to-body ratio will be happy to see smaller bezels, no chin, and a tiny top notch. As a device for photography, it's not...
