LG Enact (Verizon Wireless)

The LG Enact is one of the few keyboarded Android smartphones on Verizon and its huge battery is a major strength, but it's an otherwise mundane entry-level option.

Comfortable full QWERTY keyboard. Stellar battery life. Satisfying sliding keyboard mechanism. Bright display.

Frequently laggy. Chunky build. Poor cameras.

Multimedia and Conclusions Of the 8GB internal storage, only 3.71GB is available to users out of the box. Media support is solid, as the Enact had no trouble with all of our audio and video files at resolutions up to 1080p. There's a microSD card slot...

LG Enact (Verizon Wireless) review

Outfitted with a generously spaced five-row keyboard, the LG Enact Android smartphone is a great device for quick-type message artists who aren't looking to spend an arm and a leg. In fact, with its $19.99 on-contract sticker price, the handset is a...

The reasonably priced LG Enact has 4G LTE, a useful and comfortable sliding keyboard, and an optional user interface for smartphone beginners.

Slow internal speeds and a mediocre camera tarnish the handset's otherwise reliable performance.

Verizon's budget-conscious QWERTY lovers should consider the Enact, but if cost isn't an issue, the Motorola Droid 4 is the better phone.

LG Enact Review

With most smartphones touting large displays (and large prices), it's nice to see manufactures still making affordable phones with physical QWERTY keyboards. Enter the new LG Enact, which is available from Verizon Wireless for only $20 with a 2-year...

Affordable price ; Physical QWERTY keyboard ; Easy to hold and carry around

WVGA display just doesn’t cut it ; Mediocre call quality ; Keyboard backlight isn’t bright enough

The LG Enact is an average Android smartphone for an on-contract price of $20, as it does everything OK, but doesn’t exceed at anything. The main feature is the physical QWERTY keyboard, making it ideal for teens, or anyone that doesn’t like to use an...

Consumer review (cnet.com)

Perfect smart phone for first time users.

CNET says about this phone "The bottom line: Verizon's budget-conscious QWERTY lovers should consider the Enact, but if cost isn't an issue, the Motorola Droid 4 is the better phone." If cost wasn't an issue. I would have bought the LG G2. But, cost...

-Size. -Screen Size. -QWERTY board size is excellent. It's not as small as it may seem. It's actually a very good sized board. Better then the touch screen QWERTY. -Expandable memory. -Battery life. -Customer replaceable battery.

-Processor could be faster. -Camera could use more megapixels. -Top half of slider is slippery when trying to open it. Maybe a little bit of burnishing up near the corners where you push where your thumbs might have helped.
