LG Leon (T-Mobile) review

The extremely affordable LG Leon serves up midlevel specs like a 5-megapixel camera, a 1.2GHz processor and a low 480-pixel resolution. And while nothing is wrong with budget handsets, the Leon's altogether lackluster performance makes it an unsavory...

The LG Leon is competitively priced, has expandable memory, and for T-Mobile customers, it makes reliable calls over both cellular and Wi-Fi.

The handset's camera takes mediocre photos and lacks touch-focus, and its performance is sluggish.

The LG Leon is a passable budget smartphone, but it's worth spending a little more for the Motorola Moto G or the 4.7-inch Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3.

LG Leon Smartphone Review

Surprise bag. A quad-core SoC, high-speed LTE Internet alongside an NFC module, Android 5.0 and 8 GB of storage. This bundle, in the form of the 4.5-inch LG Leon LGH340N, is officially available for just 149 Euros (~$170). Our report reveals how well...

Quad-core processor, Android 5.0, Bright screen, LTE, NFC, Accurate GPS module, Low temperature development, Decent battery life, Affordable

No HD screen, Few camera settings, Weak front-facing camera, Low usable storage capacity

LG has a nicely designed smartphone in its lineup with the 4.5-inch Leon LGH340N. It has quite a bit of value to offer and only a few shortcomings despite its budget price, including an extensive interface configuration including LTE and NFC, and a...

LG Leon review

Mid-range or middle of the road

Android 5.0 Lollipop ; Responsive screen ; Metallic finish looks alright ; Gesture control works well

Could be overpriced ; Still looks cheap ; No microSD slot

The LG Leon comes with some nice features you sometimes see in higher end phones, such as NFC and the latest Android 5.0, though there's no 4G and it does look a little cheap.

LG Leon review: This compact phone is cheap, but it's not worth the buy

While the 4.5-inch LG Leon is inexpensive, its middling camera and performance make it safe to skip for something better.

LG Leon review

The LG Leon has decent battery life and is very cheap on contract, but the lacklustre display falls short of the competition

As a result, the 2nd Gen Moto E remains my budget phone of choice for those looking for an ultra-cheap contract. However, if you'd rather buy the phone outright and don't mind going for a large 5.5in handset, the Vodafone Smart Ultra 6 is much better...

LG Leon from Vodafone

This is an Android phone so everything should be the same as every other phone? However LG have never been one to conform, I remember their white phone of many years ago. Here there are no buttons on the phones sides.

This is not an expensive phone as it is available from the link below for £50 on PAYG so for the light user this could be a good plus.

Great phone!

I wanted a smartphone for daily use which wouldn't break the bank. T-Mobile had a sale going on for this model which had just come out so I thought why not give it a try. The phone looks decent, not too big, slim and light. Didn't want to feel like I...
