Review LG P710 Optimus L7 II Smartphone

Big "L". This time around, we are testing the Optimus L7 II, the larger of LG's two new mid-range second-generation Optimus L models. Its smaller sibling was a decent smartphone, albeit a bit unremarkable - does the same hold true for the L7 II as well?

Well-built, Decent battery life, Responsive, precise touchscreen, Good image quality (rear camera), Lightweight, compact chassis, Nice viewing angles, Low black levels, high contrast ratio, The good image quality and the well-built chassis

Performance worse than that of its competitors, Too much power consumption while idle, Mediocre speaker, Dark screen, Dirt-attracting surfaces, A little more boldness in terms of design language and an increased performance

LG Optimus L7 II Review

The LG Optimus L7 II is an affordable Android mid-ranger that brings a lot to the table - a spacious 4.3-inch display and a huge battery...

Awesome interface ; Great dual-SIM implementation ; Vivid display ; Convenient for single handed use ; Enormous battery ; Great longevity

Sluggish performance ; Uninspiring plastic build

The LG Optimus L7 II is a dual-SIM handset at heart, meant for developing markets where the feature is hugely appreciated. It arrives for a relatively affordable price of $280 off contract (280 euro in Europe), right at the start of the mid-range segment.

T-Mobile LG Flip II Android Phone packs dual-screens

Back in the day when we had clamshell phones owning the scene, we'd acquaint ourselves with the main display on the inside and a secondary one on the outside. However, the age of the clams is past and now the touchscreen phase is here, with only...

LG Optimus L7 2 review

The daddy of the new L-Series 2 range stomps into view

great camera ; decent screen ; smooth Jelly Bean

web surfing poor ; feels a bit like a toy

The LG Optimus L7 2 is a surprisingly capable budget smartphone which offers up plenty of features for not a lot of cash. We were impressed with its 8MP camera, stylish design and smooth operation, although web surfing could do with a bit of a boost....

LG Optimus L7 2 review

A dual-core update to LG's cheap phone with very big screen

One thing that hasn't changed is the way the phone looks; white plastic with chrome touches isn't really our cup of tea. Nonetheless, this is a competent smartphone that should be available for around £150; not bad for an Android handset with such a...

LG Optimus L7 II review

Last year's Optimus L7 was a solid midrange performer withoutdoing much to help it stand out. This year's Optimus L7 II tries toaddress that with an improved processor and camera, plus a fewother improvements.

Decent camera, good battery life, sensible price

Cheap casing, not the fastest

The Optimus L7 II makes some good upgrades to the original, particularly with the improved processor and camera, though itwould have been nice to see a sharper screen too. Its price keepsit competitive at the lower end of the midrange and if it...
