Nokia 6680, 6681: First look

There is no point in talking about the 6680 and 6681 models separately for they are nearly identical. The 6680 Nokia is a bit better equipped – it works pretty well in third-generation networks and hence has an extra VGA photo camera placed on its...

Note: A Nokia representative admitted that the bigger amount of colors is to attract more customers rather than improve the image quality of the display

Nokia 6680 Cell Phone Review

The Nokia 6680 is an imaging smartphone that's as sophisticated and successful as you are. With two integrated digital cameras (1.3 megapixels in the back, VGA in the front), you can conduct face-to-face video calls from your phone.

Nokia 6680 3G phone

Nokia 6680 is a compact and sleek phone that's more powerful than a first quick glance reveals to a busy shopper. This smart phone with two digital cameras and high-speed 3G network connectivity comes with practically every feature known to modern phones.

Value for money: If you want a high-end phone, it comes with a price. Nokia 6680 is very good value for money in the high-end category as one of the most feature-packed, but compact phones.

Nokia 6680

Nokia 6680 imaging smartphone, optimised for visual sharing with two integrated cameras, a flash, and a bright 262K colour screen. The active slide covering the back camera of the Nokia 6680 allows effortless switching between cameras during a video call.

The best features of the Nokia 6680 are the re-emergence of the loudspeaker button and the hot-swap RS-MMC, while the worst feature would be the dual cameras, which add to the bulk of the phone. If I had designed this phone, I would have figured on...

Nokia 6680

The Nokia 6680 is an upgrade to the previously released 6630 and adds some innovative features to an already impressive 3G package.

Dual cameras, MMC Card slot, Bright, clear and large screen, good battery life, excellent voice and signal quality

Odd design, keypad layout confusing, no voice dialing, interface slow at times, uncomfortable earphones, can't SMS while using media player

The 6680 comes confidently recommended for any 3G user, although the unique button layout can be somewhat discomforting.

Nokia 6680

The 6680 has two cameras for videocalling - one on the front and one on the back - and the experienced Series 60's interface

Two cameras for videocalling. Slick to navigate. Series 60 interface

Macs are not supported. Humiliating video recording a very real danger to your personal honour

Nokia 6680 mobile phone

The much awaited 6680 promises to bring 3G well and truly into the mainstream for Nokia, but can the new multitasking phone offer you multitasking options. We look and find out.

sleek design; software improvements; two cameras with flash; direct photo printing.

active slide can’t be disabled and does feel a little flimsy; quite heavy;

In our tests, call quality was excellent and I certainly seemed to have a much stronger signal in most areas than with the 6630 - perhaps the reception has been beefed up to help with the notoriously patchy quality of 3G in certain areas.
