Nothing Phone (1) review

The Nothing phone has been in the rumor mill for months, but the wait is finally over. Carl Pei, the company's CEO, has introduced the world to the...

One-of-a-kind glass design with Glyph UI, IP53-rated.

Weak ingress protection.

So, we do recommend getting the Nothing Phone (1) for its uniqueness, speed, and camera as they come at a competitive price. Yes, it's not a top-tier phone, but it does feel and behave like one, and while it's not a flagship killer, it sure isn't a...

Nothing Phone 1 review: Get past the hype, and the Phone 1 shines

The Nothing Phone 1 is instantly recognizable due to those eye-catching flashing LEDs on the back, but what's the phone like to actually live with?

Quirky and unusual design Slick, easy to use software Glyph Interface is eye-catching Main camera takes good photos Wireless charging

Short battery life Software needs work Can get warm under load

“The Nothing Phone 1 is quirky, unusual, and eye-catching — all in a good way. From the LED lights to the simple software, there's a lot to like.”

Nothing Phone (1) review: insert “nothing” pun here

The Nothing Phone (1) is... OK. Cool phone, solid all-rounder, though nothing bombastic. Would we recommend it? Sure. Is it the second round of the Smartphone revolution? Not so much.

Unique design elements ; Feels great in the hand ; Pretty good camera ; Good performance ; Dependable battery life ; Pretty-looking, 120 Hz screen - very good at the price point

Speaker sound is OK, but a bit tinny ; Glyph notification may not be as practical ; No sign of what that wide Nothing ecosystem might be ; Software still suffers from small but annoying bugs

In India, the Nothing Phone (1) starts at a price of Rs 32,999 and goes up to Rs 38,999 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model. The 12GB RAM variant is the one I have been using for the last one week.

Unique design ; Clean Software ; Good cameras

Display brightness ; No charger in the box ; Confusing controls

Nothing Phone (1) review: A brave and flashy start

The Nothing Phone (1) won't knock your socks off with its performance or its cameras, but it brings both a novel design and unique functionality to the smartphone world. It looks eerily similar to a

The Phone (1) is a flashy start that, while not without shortcomings, gets most of the basics right. And for that £399 price, you can’t ask for much more.

Nothing Phone (1) is a Cool Smartphone for Bored Android Users

You have to be really over the status quo to import an Android device that isn't the best at everything it does.

Nothing Phone (1)

Have you heard all the hype? Now consider our review of the Nothing Phone (1) to see what we made of the phone.

A design that stands out ; Really nice 120Hz OLED display ; Plenty of phone for the money

Glyph Interface is more of a gimmick than a useful feature ; Odd performance issues, especally with the camera

The Nothing Phone (1) is a good mid-range Android phone that fails to really stand out from the crowded market unless you’re a big fan of the transparent look.
