Review: Samsung Galaxy S III

History, rewritten .

Samsung I9300 Galaxy S III review: S to the third

Quad-band GSM and quad-band 3G support, 21 Mbps HSDPA and 5.76 Mbps HSUPA support, 4.8" 16M-color Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen of HD (720 x 1280 pixel) resolution; Corning Gorilla Glass 2, Android OS v4.0.4 with TouchWiz launcher, 1.4 GHz...

All-plastic body of dubious aesthetics, No dedicated camera key, microSIM slot, S Voice is hardly as functional as ads might make you believe

When Samsung announced the Galaxy S III, they saw to it that their top smartphone matched - at the very least - the best on the market. And because no effort was too much in insuring against any surprises, they ended up with something that's nearly...

Samsung's Galaxy S3 impresses, but doesn't dominate

Samsung's latest superphone goes big where it counts -- a large HD screen, fast data support, and a sharp camera -- but it still faces competition from the HTC One X.

The ; comes fully loaded with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, 4G LTE capability, a zippy dual-core processor, and a strong 8-megapixel camera. S Beam is an excellent software enhancement, and the handset's price is right.

The Galaxy S3's screen is too dim, and Samsung's Siri competitor, S Voice, disappointed us.

Pumped with high-performing hardware and creative software features, the Samsung Galaxy S3 is an excellent, top-end phone that's neck and neck with the HTC One X.

This great smartphone sorely needs LTE

Samsung's latest superphone goes big where it counts -- a large HD screen, fast data support, and a sharp camera -- but Sprint's 3G speeds are sorely lacking.

The ; (S3) comes fully loaded with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, 4G LTE capability, a zippy dual-core processor, and a strong 8-megapixel camera. S Beam is an excellent software enhancement, and the handset's price is right.

The Galaxy S3's screen is too dim, and Samsung's Siri competitor, S Voice, disappointed. Until Sprint's LTE launch, data speeds drag on the carrier's 3G network.

Pumped with high-performing hardware and creative software features, the Samsung Galaxy S3 is an excellent, top-end phone that's neck and neck with the HTC One X. Unfortunately, it only runs on Sprint's 3G network for now.

Review Samsung Galaxy S3 (GT-I9300) Smartphone

A new Galaxy. Samsung introduced its smartphone flagship from the latest portfolio at a big event in London. A quad-core SoC based on ARM, a 720p screen, NFC and Android 4.0 ICS belong to the must-haves of this category today. Is Samsung's Galaxy S3...

Casing's attractive design, Micro SD card reader (up to 64 GB), 50 GB of Dropbox storage (24 months), NFC (near-field communication), Appealing and swift user interface (TouchWiz 5.0), Camera module (1080p shots, 8 megapixels, LED flash), High-contrast...

Aluminum looks rather than aluminum (rim), 12 month warranty only, Preinstalled bloatware, Many software features only a nice-to-have (S Voice, Smart Stay and co.), AMOLED screen's brightness, Temperature development during load, An aluminum rim that...

Samsung Galaxy S III Review [AT&T & T-Mobile]

Is the Samsung Galaxy S III the most anticipated Android smartphone in the US this year? Given the reaction to the 4.8-inch flagship's announcement – not to mention the pre-launch rumor and hype – and the subsequent furore around the European model,...

What’s round the corner, though, doesn’t detract from what the Galaxy S III delivers today. 4G speed, plenty of processor performance (even without the two “missing” cores) and a brilliant display leave us with no more doubt than when we first reviewed...

Samsung Galaxy S III Review (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint)

As we've seen last year with the Samsung Galaxy S II, it made its way to the US market many months after its initial unveiling – and to top it off, each specific carrier version was different in their own way. So yeah, call it confusion to the max or...

Revamped TouchWiz experience ; Lots of easy sharing functionality

The polycarbonate used doesn't give the impression of something premium

Frankly folks, we have to reiterate things once again! Simply, the US versions of the Samsung Galaxy S III are still spectacular on so many levels – even despite their choice of using a dual-core Snapdragon S4 chip as opposed to quad-core. Honestly,...

Samsung Galaxy S III: Summer blockbuster defined by superstar software (review)

Long-term Review of the Samsung Galaxy S III

The Galaxy S III is a great phone that is roughly on par with the HTC One X (AT&T), HTC One S (T-Mobile) and HTC EVO 4G LTE (Sprint) for the best phones on the market. The HTC One line has a slightly better camera, while the Samsung Galaxy S III has...
