Sony Ericsson W950i

The Sony Ericsson W950i smartphone combines huge music storage with painfully slow Internet access.

Handsome. 4GB internal storage. Good music player.

Internet is incredibly slow. Unpleasant flat keypad. Wobbly video capabilities. ; Watch the Sony Ericsson W950i Video Review!

4GB flash memory, Excellent music performance, Touch screen and stylus operation, Compact size for smart phone

No Wi-Fi, 3G but no video call, No memory expansion, Keypad hard to press, Sluggish interface at times

An excellent music phone thanks to the Walkman application and a massive 4GB of storage space, but no camera or Wi-Fi and a poor keypad detract from the package.

Sony Ericsson W950i review

A triumph of style over substance

Good music features

No camera ; Awful keypad

The W950i seems to have been designed with music-playing features in mind, and precious little else

Annoying keypad ; Stylus feels out of place ; No camera ; No expandable memory

It's hard to imagine who this device is aimed at. It's certainly not teens, who will be put off by features like the stylus and the confusing menus. Business users will also be put off, as its bizarre colour scheme and stunted business features mean...
