Coming hot on the heels of the ultra-impressive G2, T-Mobile has returned to its myTouch series with the myTouch 4G. While the G2 is the natural

Like it or not, T-Mobile has now officially turned its myTouch brand into an entire franchise, thanks to the addition of a second model and an entire line

T-Mobile myTouch (Mid-2012)

The T-Mobile myTouch remains a good beginner buy for first-time smartphone users on T-Mobile.

Good call quality. Great battery life. Inexpensive.

Runs an outdated version of Android. Lots of bloatware.

Multimedia, Camera, and Conclusions The myTouch comes with 1.97GB of free internal storage along with 754MB of free system storage. My 32 and 64GB SanDisk microSD cards worked fine in the slot underneath the battery cover. A standard-size 3.5mm...

T-Mobile myTouch and myTouch Q review

Featurephones, dumbphones, "messaging phones." No matter what you call them, it's clear that these devices are quickly being replaced by cheap smartphones at the low end of the cellphone market....

Solid build ; Excellent call quality ; Good battery life

Ugly, outdated software ; Low-resolution display ; Lots of bloatware

So close to replacing your feature phone, but yet so far

T-Mobile MyTouch Q (Huawei review

Android phones with honest-to-goodness real physical keyboards rarely cross my desk these days. That's why I jumped at the chance to give the new $49.99 T-Mobile MyTouch Q by Huawei a spin. This device is a follow-up to the first MyTouch Q made by LG...

The T-Mobile MyTouch Q has quick 4G data plus a physical keyboard. Its low $50 entry price is compelling. The phone provides good performance on a budget.

The T-Mobile MyTouch Q runs dated Android software. The MyTouch's screen is dark and has poor contrast. The phone is also big and heavy.

If you can live with its dated software and heft, the T-Mobile MyTouch Q is an alluring keyboard slider deal.

T-Mobile MyTouch (Huawei review

T-Mobile is at it again. A few years ago, the carrier released a line of MyTouch devices with HTC: the MyTouch 3G , the MyTouch 3G Slide , the MyTouch 4G , and the MyTouch 4G Slide . Then early this year, more MyTouch handsets were announced, this time...

The T-Mobile MyTouch by Huawei is reasonably priced and attractively designed, and shows impressive 4G data speeds.

The MyTouch still runs on the outdated Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, it comes with tons of bloatware, and its voice-activation software is rough around the edges.

Huawei's T-Mobile MyTouch is ideal for first-time smartphone users who want 4G speeds and decent specs, but be aware that you'll be buying into an antiquated OS.

T-Mobile MyTouch review

If you're confused about the MyTouch phone family tree, you're not alone. A few years ago, HTC and T-Mobile started to release a line of phones under the MyTouch umbrella. These included the MyTouch 3G , the MyTouch 3G Slide , the MyTouch 4G , and the...

The T-Mobile MyTouch is a simple starter smartphone that's compatible with T-Mobile's 4G network. It has good battery life and you can get it for nothing.

Despite the phone's midtier specs, it lacks a camera flash. Also, the speakerphone quality was poor and the interface was a little sluggish.

Though not without its merits, this most recent addition to the MyTouch family has too many things against it. No one issue was unbearable on its own, but when I add up all my qualms about it, I'd ultimately suggest another phone within its class.

T-Mobile myTouch

The T-Mobile myTouch is a good starter smartphone for first-time smartphone users on T-Mobile.

Nice display. Good call quality. Comfortable to hold and use. Free.

Some performance hiccups. Mediocre camera.

Multimedia, Camera, and Conclusions The myTouch comes with .93GB of free internal memory along with a preinstalled 2GB microSD card; my 32 and 64GB SanDisk cards worked fine as well. There's a standard-size 3.5mm headphone jack on top of the phone, and...

T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide

The big, beautiful, Android-based myTouch 4G Slide is T-Mobile's most powerful handset to date, so it's our latest Editors' Choice for keyboarded smartphones on T-Mobile.

Fast. Excellent camera. Very good keyboard.

Heavy. Voice quality is only average.

Conclusions The T-Mobile MyTouch 4G Slide takes most of the things we liked from the HTC Sensation and throws in a faster Internet connection and a hardware keyboard. Yes, it's a brick, but we like power, speed, and flexibility, and we're willing to...

T-Mobile MyTouch 4G Slide review: T-Mobile MyTouch 4G Slide

Far too often a series of phones becomes dull routine, with the device manufacturer simply churning out yet another familiar model rather than designing something new. Not so with the T-Mobile MyTouch 4G Slide. HTC could have simply changed the colors,...

The T-Mobile MyTouch 4G Slide is a speedy 4G, dual-core smartphone with some great multimedia features.

The keyboard is a little flat on the MyTouch 4G Slide, and while good, the camera tools don't live up to their mind-blowing promise.

The T-Mobile MyTouch 4G Slide is a well-designed, feature-packed dual-core handset that can stand alongside today's premium smartphones.
