Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Review

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 is a well-equipped phone at half the price of other similarly powerful rivals, and it has a big battery and capable camera. Are there any pitfalls?…

Unbeatable value for the money; Snappy performance; Outstanding battery life; One of the best implementations of a gesture navigation; 64GB storage with microSD support; USB-C; No official water-resistance rating, but buttons and ports are sealed...

Fundamentally broken lockscreen notifications; LED notification light too weak; Light bleed at the corners of the screen and around the notch; Disappointing video recording quality

Redmi Note 7 review: that's a hard "yes"! | AndroidPIT

Redmi Note 7 arrives at an aggressive price and is preparing to shake the low end of the market. Will the Xiaomi smartphone succeed?

I want to ask you sincerely: what is missing on the Redmi Note 7 considering its price? A question that is not easy to answer since Xiaomi has done a great job. Of course, some competitors have a metal frame, IP6X certification and stereo speakers, but...

Redmi Note 7 review: Price win means software sin

An affordable phone from the budget arm of Xiaomi offers great design, value and battery life, but introduces software annoyances that drag it down.

Solid design and build ; Great battery life ; Plenty of power for the money

Buggy software ; No NFC ; Speaker is a little weedy ; Display dimming and polariser

The Redmi Note 7 is a perfectly usable phone and for the price it's compelling - great build, a camera that will take a decent photo and enough power to do most things, all pushed along by a solid battery - but it does have some downsides too.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 review: Flawless for the price

The Redmi Note 7 isn't perfect, but for the price, it's hard to argue

Incredible value ; Excellent camera ; Stylish design

Xiaomi’s flavour of Android isn’t for everyone ; Video stabilisation ineffective

It’s always a good sign when you come to the end of a review and you’re completely unable to flag any big negatives. There are certainly better phones than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, that’s for sure, but you won’t find anything as fleshed out as this...

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro Review

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro is a big upgrade from its predecessor with a 48MP camera and a powerful mid-range chipset tuned for gaming, but is it best mid-range phone to buy right now?

Camera takes excellent photos in the default 12MP resolution. ; Dynamic colour gradients add to the flair. ; Performance sets a new benchmark in the mid-range segment.

No Quick Charge 4.0 charger provided in the box ; Bright LCD panel, but can't match up to the AMOLED display on the Samsung Galaxy M30 ; Shooting at 48MP is pointless since you won't get the required sharpness and details for large prints.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro will go down in history for being the first to offer a whopping 48MP camera for under Rs 15,000. But while the camera isn't all that good when shooting in native 48MP, the Note 7 Pro does an excellent job in taking sharp and...
