No Longevity

 

I bought this grinder to replace a much used blade grinder. It was only $15 and $5 more than getting the same one again. That and the ability to adjust the grind size I couldn't resist. Before too long however;Just how many things can I list for ...

Easy to put the beans in and to measure amount.

Very messy which eventualy leads to its demise.

Inexpensive burr grinder. It does actually grind the beans.

Unbelievable mess, mostly from static electricity. Actually soots coffee dust around the kitchen.

As everyone else has noted, this grinder can get pretty messy, and some of the plastic is fragile. I've found that it's not particularly messy if you give the grounds-container a few good taps on the top before removing. Static is an issue with any ...
