Morphy Richards 47049

 

Quick to make coffee. Simple basket design with removable basket container that makes it easy to clean. Good pouring from the coffee jug.

Lid will not lift out of the way to allow the water to be poured in easily. When the lid is lifted, water on the underside (usually a teaspoon or more) pours down the back of the machine onto the surface the machine stands on.

Bought as a gift for the office team, they love it, its fantastic for small offices.

Cleaning the point where the heated water comes through is a little difficult, maybe include a small cleaning brush, like the size of a toothbrush.

Good but not perfect

 

I bought this as a gift and have been told it makes great coffee but since the timer feature does not work (which is why I bought this item above others) it will have to be returned/exchanged which isn't a great result for a gift.

Quick & Easy Coffee

 

When my old coffee maker finally stopped working altogether, all I wanted was a basic filter coffee machine. Whilst espresso makers and 'pod' based gadgets seem to be most popular at the moment, this Morphy Richards model proved to be just what I needed.

Does what it should, only thing is ,you have to leave the coffee to warm up on the hot plate for about 10mins as it is not quite hot enough to drink right away.

Fantastic Coffee Maker

 

This is a better coffee maker than I thought it would be. I haven't used the timer but it is great to have the option. When it says 12 cups it really is cups and not mugs. I am really happy with the purchase.
