Very nice

Physically and mechanically the unit was great. We are very pleased, El Capitan runs very well on this with a memory upgrade.

Was in great condition, but could have better packaging, no wrap so it could rub on the bare cardboard. Came with OSX 10.6.3 which made for an easy upgrade to El Capitan

Only came with 2 GB RAM, but Newegg helped out with that issue.

great deal, great condition

10,6 is too old for.......everything I had to update 1 system version at a time ( 10,7 then 10,8 then 10,9 until El Capitan) HDD is 7 years old. Next step upgrade for SSD ( May the luck be with me.....)

like new..... really!

only 2 GB (2x1GB) of ram

Absolutley dreadful

I would recommend that people looking at this deal should keep scrolling.

The only pro on this purchase is the fact that the computer was cosmetically in good condition.

The OS installation was corrupt. Nothing worked, it would not take updates, and Safari doesn't work as it should. There are only 2gb of RAM even though the title specifically states 4gb. The driver for the Ethernet system was bad, and the hard drive...

Good machine for non-power-users

Spend the same amount on a custom build, throw in a Quad Core AMD, 8 gigs of ram, A terabyte of HD space, and a GTX 275. Then install your favorite OS, Linux, BSD, Windows Vista (which is actually OK after the SP), or Even OSX (now possible on any...

All in one design is nice for the standard user. Does all the things any net-top can and then some. Decent connectivity options

Only expandable ram

Great

When you think on it, the price for this iMac is not high. Great hardware, the perfect OS. Already has a camera and microphone. You can upgrade the ram (memory) That will keep this computer going strong for years to come. If you are like me and had to...

Was so sick of having a PC and all the bugs and bloatware they come with. Wanted to move full time to a Mac. Wanted to get the new iMac and I got this one. The computer it self is art, looks so clean and the screen is outstanding. The OS 10.5 is ahead...

The mouse looks nice, shame it don't live up to the rest. I just put in a USB Logitech mouse. The keyboard took some time to get use to. Give it a day and you will be flying

The Best of the Best

Being Linux user, moving to Mac was not a problem. Once you move from pc to mac, you won't want to go back

Apple makes some very nice systems. This early 2009 model is excellent. The screen is perfect. The size is perfect. OS 10.5 is very good. 20" screen is fine, and make sure you know how big the screen size is. Sit in front. I was thinking of the 24",...

small key board takes time to get use to. Mighty mouse is anoyying to use. Check out other mouse to use

Apple MB417LL/A

The all-new, all-in-one iMac packs a complete, high-performance computer into a beautifully thin design. It includes built-in wireless, Mac OS X, and the iLife '08. So within minutes of opening the box, you'll be doing everything from sharing photos to...

Apple iMac MB417B/A (Early 2009)

there is not enough time to list them all!!! check out: "my first mac"

that the most service providers ie sky yahoo gmail, don't give you the settings you need, to setup, but the mac assistant does that thankfully, and there is the host of mac users on line, so it is ok. in the end :-)

Fast machine and easy to use. Not complicated as compared with a PC.
